Legend has it that this is where Roberto Cofresí would hide out until night fall and launch his attacks on unsuspecting passing ships. Giving it its name Boca Quebrada or Broken mouth.

This beach is secluded and accessible easiest by boat (email us for the best boat captain recommendation). The beach lies in the far west and in previous years we parked near Punta Arenas and were able to hike along the Boca Quebrada Rd all the way to the point. Not sure how possible this is today. Shoot us an email if you are brave enough and have an update!

When you arrive at the beach by boat you’ll see Monte Pirata in the background. It is unlikely you will see any one else here. You can also find black sand and lots of conk shells. It is definitely worth the trip!
